December 18, 2022
Presented as part of our Public Programming offerings, every third Sunday of the month we feature artmaking and creative workshops, music, and other activities for kids, teens, and families+.
Artists, creatives, makers, and musicians will produce activities and workshops throughout the museum. Families, friends, and all are welcome.
On Sunday, December 18, there will be an all-day activity wherein attendees can decorate and color postcards that will then be mailed from the museum.
Other activities include an immersive painting experience from Clara Neiblas, one of the museum’s current Outburst Project artists, and a workshop where guests will learn about relief printing-making techniques with Angela Kinley. Both of these workshops occur twice on Sunday and interested parties will need to register in advance due to limited space.
For this Sunday only, there will also be an indoor Winter Market of local vendors and artisans on different floors of the museum, including a family portrait artist, a macramé designer, and two vintage clothing merchants. Adding to the experience will be two DJs, and coffee and hot chocolate offerings from Café Empatía.
Must make a reservation.
